19th Century furniture of unknown mark and origin, raspberry pink velvet, in good condition. A quaint whimsical low body parlor chair for sitting room or fireside chat. Elegant sweeping lines, small tight tufting with covered buttons and cord bound trimmings in antique white contrast color. Victorian era woodwork of marquetry inlays, neoclassical scrollwork and emblems, hand carved harp and seatback, decorative arms, turned wooden caster legs. Multiple details and fine workmanship of decorative designs. Solid wood construction of mixed woods such as mahogany, oak, walnut.
In good preowned, antique condition, the fabric has signs of color fade and minimal water stain in a few areas.
