Hand-crafted and Hand-made in Africa. The bowl is rare and beautiful, an art to transform the piece into this lovely town with etchings and leather strap - the design and African design are wonderful making each piece a one of a kind by the craftsman.
Made in the mid 20th Century, the bowl has a rich and deep patination that only time can create. A compliment to as a decorative piece to any display on a cocktail table, shelf or console... the piece can also be used to store nuts, offices supplies or mail - a creative entity all of it's own.
A leather strap is added to the side, there are plugs of metal in the sides, as there would be butterflies in a fine American wooden bowl. A piece rich In design, history and provenance.
