Antique French Louis XV Style Cast Bronze Ormolu Figural Cherub / Putto "Sciences & Celestial" Mantel Clock in Rare Silver Gilt. Item features clock movement signed "Mon Franjus Raison & Boyer Sucrs." Stunning cast and details of seated putto and celestial globe. Putto is seen studying and another example of this figural casting included a scroll and pen in hand. It is unconfirmed whether this piece originally had said scroll and pen, but they are no longer included if so. This is a remarkable example of fine French craftsmanship in a very rare silver gilt finish. Circa 19th Century. Measurements: 11.5" H x 11.5" W x 5" D.
