Gorgeous set of 8 MCM Danish Pottery Plates, signed by the artist and dated 1973. These are a heavy stoneware and large, measuring 11 5/8” diameter. Deep chocolate brown abstract design that is similar on each plate against a taupe glaze that has dark brown speckles throughout. Beautiful to display or use.

Nice condition. There are some imperfections that occurred in the handmaking of each piece that include uneven glazing. Some rough spots on back that occurred when pieces were made when surface is rough to touch. One plate has an imperfection on back where black clay appears to have been smoothed by finger before firing - photos provided.
