From the Barrettoni già Antonibon pottery in Nove, Northern Italy, an earthenware fish service consisting of a large serving platter and six individual plates.
Each piece is formed as a fish with dimensional mold work of detailed scales, and protruding fins and a tail. Olive green, yellow ochre, black and cream coloring is offset by the bright blue eye of each fish. Circa 1950s.
Hand signed on the verso – Italy and a mold number, 236.
