Set of 5 Original circa 1920s Thonet Wien Austria Bentwood Dining or Bistro Chairs made by Luterma France.
At the time of the Bauhaus Movement Walter Gropius and later in the 1950s Marcel Breuer worked with the factory to develop various models.
These chairs date circa from the 1920s, a simple classic shape with a beautiful colour and hand carved elegant shaped backs and side supports.
In original vintage condition with lots of cosmetic wear but all Chairs are firm and stable.
All Chairs have some leftovers from the Thonet Wien Austria Paper Label and as well the branded Logo under the Seats. St. MGV as well as 3 Chairs have the Luterma made in France Trademark under the seat.
Great rare Set made with exceptional craftsmanship for many more years to enjoy.
