It says "Corager Aztec" on the bottom, so may be Mexican, but the pottery studio was not able to be authenticated. The bowl weighs six pounds and has crazing - small cracks in the fired clay - both of which lend it an earthy, rustic feel. It would give a real pop of color to an outdoor table or any setting with warm, earthy tones of red, orange, or salmon. See less
