Piece … Read more English white porcelain platter with depiction of a sailing ship at the center, circa mid 20th century, England, Europe. Piece shows scalloped edges around the plate and detailed colored ship and sea waves in a bright ruby red etching style of imprint. Ruby red thin line around the scalloped rim and a circle with rope design around the ship on the interior of the plate decorate the piece for a nautical vibe of the decor. Hexagonal edges of the scalloped plate on two opposite sides have raised Georgian design white relief. Demonstrated shown as jewelry dish. Piece is great for organizing items on a desk in an office, or on vanity to hold jewelry, cufflinks, perfume bottle. Piece can also be used as serving platform for hors d'oeuvres. With maker's mark on reverse "Wedgwood", "Flying Cloud", and "Made in England".
