Impressive German flame mahogany cabinet with an arched cornice having an ornately carved cresting flanked by a pair of turned vase and flambeau finials Below is a shaped panel door with a later mirror inset, and the interior with shelves and two small drawers. The serpentine fronted base has a drawer and a pair of doors The shaped base rests on turned feet. This cabinet is in two parts and has distinctive flame figuring characteristic of Honduras mahogany. Dates circa 1850.
