Let me introduce to you this stunning Ebony and Gold gilded Hollywood Regency King Size Bed. Made of walnut by the BASIC WITZ furniture company, their Spanish Mediterranean King Size Headboard has been brought back to life in the Hollywood Regency High Style. Each piece of gold leaf was hand applied as well as the Ebony wax finish. Both buffed to a high shine and sealed. An antiquing effect has been added to bring out its richness. Imperfections are part of the charm of this technique for bringing out a aged patina that seems to have been brought on by the passing of time.

Both of the finishes have an ageing technique and have been distressed. Imperfections are part of the finish’s appeal. There is some damage to the wood on the bottom of the right hand side foot but it has no impact on frame attachment.
