Each is decorated and embossed with different fruit … Read more Vintage French Parry & Vieille Majolica Set of Two Decorative Fruit Plates. Each is decorated and embossed with different fruit in rich jewel tones- one plum, the other pear- set on a colorful saffron and green leaf patterned background. Now retired, the PV brand (Parry-Vieille) was owned by two Limoges artists Henri Pari and Guy Vieille. The brand also produced beautifully hand-painted Limoges boxes that are still sought after by collectors. Each plate is a piece of art which would display beautifully on a wall, bookshelf, or tablescape. NOTE: The last photo shows a similar plate by De Sarreguemines (France) featuring cherries that is also featured in my shop if you are looking for a trio to display. IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE.
