VTG 4 Wedgwood Soup Bowls England TINTERN AL 9460 on Wellesley Flower Circa 1947
These elegant, cream-toned earthenware soup bowls are decorated with centers depicting various assortments of colorful garden flowers and rims embossed with the ripened fruits texturing of Wedgwood's 'Wellesley' blank. The bottoms are labeled with a Wedgwood Made in England trademark, the 'Tintern' decoration pattern name, the 'AL9460' pattern number, and the 'Wellesley' blank pattern name. The bottoms are also impressed with '10D47' date marks indicating a manufacture date in 1947.
Each plate measures approximately 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches in height.
