Inspired by the art of Mexico and created by Crisrtiana Rauter in 1967, "Acapulco" is a bright, whimsical, and one of the most iconic dinnerware patterns of the 20th Century that is still highly sought after to this day.
The blue backstamp is from the earlier years and sometimes referred to as the "Milano Shape" (brown stamps and different shapes appeared in the 1980s) until production ceased in 1994. The term “dishwasher safe” was added in 1992, and “microwave safe” in 1993, which is why these have tended to be rinsed, washed and air-dried over the years.
Offered is this single bread and butter plate that measures 6.25" in diameter and 0.38" in height.
By itself, it can be used as a trinket dish (i. e. for rings, soap, a votive candle, etc.) or displayed on a shelf, or as a replacement piece for the dinnerware set.
Note: The easel is a prop, not included.

The surface has some minor utensil scratches and it is evident that there are factory defects: the light blue paint is clearly blurred on the surface below the glaze (see photos). Any imperfections or defects in the paint are innate, and any wear is commensurate with age and past usage. less
