Very special primitive pine plank style birdcage Windsor chairs. These rare chairs are matching but not exactly the same. All handmade. Beautiful Windsor style construction. There are lovely wood knots and visible pegs. Various scrapes that tell their age and gives them character. Faux bamboo legs and butterfly details on the backs. Circa 1820-30 pre-civil war era. They would look stunning around a table in a historical colonial home or farmhouse.

The chairs are creaky (they’re 200 years old!) and some feel a little loose but all can be comfortably and securely sat in.
