This is a great pair of vintage bamboo, rattan & metal cantilever dining chairs by Cramco out of Philadelpha, PA (see tag in photos), is estimated to be from the 1970s or 1980s. This "tiki-meets-Bauhaus" styling includes a trellis woven back rest, utilizing bent faux-bamboo or true rattan with cane wrapping. The metal portion of the chair is brass-plated steel tubing..
The seats are covered in a wonderfully neutral tan/beige textured boucle-style woven fabric that was made to last - and it has. This fabric integrates into any installation and easily masks daily dirt and wear!

The seat upholstery is … moreBoth chairs are in excellent condition structurally, with no damage to the frame (metal or rattan/bamboo). The seat upholstery is in excellent condition as well, with no staining/odors and little visible wear. The "brass" has some minor pitting throughout, but all top-side areas have been smoothed & polished. The bottom of the metal tubing that's resting on the floor has some minor rust but it has not advanced to corrosive (see photos). less
