With sloped … Read more Vintage Scandinavian mid century modern dining chairs by Henning Kjaernulf, made in Denmark by Korup Stolefabrik c. 1970s. With sloped arms connecting the front and rear legs they bear strong resemblance to Kai Kristiansen’s iconic Paper Knife chairs.

The solid teak frames place the seats at a slight decline, offering a lounge chair feel in a much smaller form factor. The seats and backs are newly upholstered in a luxurious aviation-grade leather from Aeristo, finished with an olive green canvas backer that perfectly compliments the teak's earthy tones. New high density foam beneath the upholstery promises years of comfortable use. Fully upholstered backs paired with 1.5" seat cushions make for an exceptionally pleasant sit.

The frames are in excellent restored condition, with few signs of prior use even on close inspection. The seats are stamped K.S., the imprint that Korup Stole used during this time perioed.
