Farstrup was a well-respected Danish furniture manufacturer known for producing high-quality chairs with elegant, timeless design, and this model is a fine example of their work.
Each chair has a tall, gently curved ladder back with three horizontal teak slats, each with two small cut-out slots — a refined and distinctive detail that gives the back both visual lightness and great back support. The frame is made from solid teak with beautifully rounded uprights that taper gracefully down to the legs. The seats are upholstered in black leatherette that contrasts nicely with the warm teak wood, and the seat corners have a lovely small rounded teak knob detail where the upholstery meets the frame.
The chairs carry the original "Made in Denmark by Farstrup" label on the underside, confirming their authenticity. This piece has an attribution mark,
