This majolica pedestal bowl or compote appears to be a hard to find item. It is made by Olfaire in Portugal (stamped on the bottom) and is the white cabbage pattern. The stem and base resemble faux bois.
This piece is perfect to display in a majolica collection, but it also makes a wonderful centerpiece on a tabletop or buffet.
Fruit is not included.
