This mixed metal safari inspired piece came out of large home in Pontiac, Michigan. The home was filled with safari related memorabilia and vintage photographs of safari expeditions from the early half of the 20TH century. I would love to know the story behind this piece, one can only imagine the parties and stories surrounding its use. The bowl has three circular metal medallions with the initials ‘KGA,’ appearing on each one. The bowl itself is 15.25 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches in depth. The piece is 20 inches wide, rhino horn to rhino horn, 19.5 inches in depth, and 9 inches tall. There is a varied patina to the metal, there is a dent in the bottom rim.
