I’m not a specialist in antique porcelain but I did a little research on the mark and I found out that this one was used in the 1880’s.
This plate is a combination of transferware and hand painting.
I found a bit of history on line:
The Royal Sphinx factory was established by Petrus Regout in 1834. It was located in Maastricht, Holland. First, he started a glass factory then two years later production of pottery began. Pottery production was initially focused on so called faience commune - simple pottery for a local market.
Production gradually was adapted to higher standards thanks to hired British specialists to compete with popular British creamware. Petrus sons were incorporated to manage the company. The company name was then changed to Petrus Regout & Co.
In 1879 the image of the sphinx started to be used as a company mark and logo. That’s the logo on the back of the plates i’m selling here on Chairish. Since 1899 the company was called De Sphinx. In 1958 the company merged with Société Ceramique and changed name to N.V. Sphinx-Céramique. Since 1960 thanks to a royal decision, the name was changed into Royal Sphinx. In 1994 the company was overtaken by Swedish firm Gustavsberg and the name changed to NV Koninklijke Sphinx Gustavsberg.
If you are interested I can photograph the other two plates. None are cracked or chipped which is amazing to me considering these are over 140 years old! WoW!
They are salad or dessert size and the pattern is Flora which is a Chinoiserie style and very popular back in it’s day and still today.
