Arne Vodder Pieces to Please Collectors & Designers
Danish designer Arne Vodder, who was trained by furniture great Finn Juhl, is perhaps a lesser-sung hero known than some of his Danish design movement contemporaries. Yet his many works – among them, rosewood sideboards; adjustable armchairs and modern settees, both crafted in teak; sculpted chaise lounges; easy chairs and dining chair sets, to name a handful – are no less praise-worthy than anything else coming out of the Danish Modern movement. Take a virtual walk through our lineup of Arne Vodder armchairs and you'll quickly discover that there is a lot to love here. From rare sets of six dining chairs that Vodder designed for Sibast, a major Danish furniture maker, to a pair of chairs designed by Vodder for France & Daverkosen with original upholstery. New to the Danish Modern design movement? Quickly get acquainted with Vodder’s work by browsing our ever-increasing inventory and you’ll likely very soon become one of his biggest fans.
