Expertly restored set of 8 "Ella" tilt-back dining chairs by Arne Vodder, made in Denmark by Vamo Sonderborg in the 1960s.
Ella is constructed from old growth teak of the highest quality, with a beautiful amber color and vivid grain patterns. The design combines angular forms with rounded edges for an appearance that is both dynamic and understated.
The backrests connect to the frames with hidden hardware that allows them to swivel so they match the angle of your back in any seating posture.
Meticulously refinished and fully reupholstered in textured buffalo leather from Edelman, with new webbing and cushions to ensure decades of comfortable use.
These chairs are unmarked. The build, dimensions, and materials are dispositive for Vodder's iconic Ella chair.
