We at Briggs House Antiques have always strived to be the go-to store for antiques lovers, interior designers and architects, in both the New York area, and nationally.

With a combined total of 28 years experience, Jennifer Lamb and Jennifer Valentine now own Briggs House, one of the largest stores of its kind in the tristate area. We began working at Briggs House as young mothers, and honed our antiques and design knowledge over the years. By the time we acquired the store from its former owner and our mentor Loraine Bauchmann, we had a complete understanding of the world of country antiques.

Now located on Port Chester, New York, we visit our English vendors often, handpicking their best finds from all over Europe and the United Kingdom. Although we take great pleasure in collecting small colorful, interesting accessories, such as ceramic vases and antique tea caddies, we specialize in larger pieces; handsome country farm tables, servers, chests of drawers, and benches. We follow the latest design trends and understand that today’s homeowners often mix modern pieces with antique statement items, and are happy to work with them or with their designers to achieve the desired look.
