Arthur Court Designs was founded in 1966 by American designer Arthur Court. The company became famous for producing sculptural aluminum serveware inspired by nature and wildlife motifs including grapes, animals, shells, and farm animals.

Arthur Court pieces are sand-cast aluminum and hand-finished, giving them their distinctive organic textures and sculptural quality. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s the brand became extremely popular in upscale entertaining and giftware markets, and many early pieces from the 1970s remain highly collectible today.

Arthur Court Designs continues producing serveware today, though early stamped pieces like this 1976 rooster example are especially desirable among collectors.
