Our workshop in Los Angeles has catered to both interior designers and furniture designers alike. We specialize in gilding and painted finishes for both wood and iron furniture.
Our background in antiques spans back three generations, starting with Henryk Koterba who ran Salon Koterba in pre-war Warsaw. His son Edward took his skills to America where he restored a triptych for the Getty museum, worked alongside David Hockney and Robert Rauschenberg at gallery Gemini G.E.L, before opening his own workshop focusing primarily on antique restoration and reproductions. Carrying on the tradition I have brought the pieces that were once on consignment along a few more items back into production and invite you to make them a part of your home.
The items for sale are antiques we have collected, alongside a collection of reproductions we were selling on consignment with Thomas Morgan’s showroom and later on with Dessin Fournir. These items are made and finished in Los Angeles. Some items are made to order and we can work on creating a distinct finish for your needs.
