I have travelled extensively over Europe Africa and America, to visit the major artistic capitals and centres, developing my visual and critical awareness like never before. At the same time purchasing a mix array of art, decorative pieces and furniture some of which can be seen on Chairish.com
I have previously worked and managed different Art Galleries in London, esp the Art Gallery, established and successfully operated by members of my family for over three generations, specializing in the trade of ancient art. My primary responsibilities at the gallery include hands on research work and gallery cataloguing of ancient Egyptian art. I have written a very comprehensive catalogue on ‘Ancient Egyptian Amulets and Faience Pieces’.
I am an avid collector of ancient Greek, Roman, Pre Islamic, Islamic and Egyptian Art. My pieces date back to as far as the 10th century BC Iran, 3rd century Rome, 26th dynasty Egypt and culminates in the 19th century Russian. All my pieces have been documented in Bazaart.
