House of Beautiful Things was born from a simple belief: exceptional design should be accessible.
While furnishing my own home, I discovered that the pieces I was most drawn to (beautifully made, unusual, sculptural furniture) were often difficult to find and prohibitively expensive when I did find them. HOBT is my answer to that: thoughtfully sourcing distinctive vintage furniture and objects and offering them at prices that make remarkable design more attainable.
My eye for sculptural form is deeply personal. My father was an artist, and I grew up surrounded by sculpture. I didn’t fully appreciate its influence at the time, but I now recognize it in the pieces I choose: objects with presence, character, and the ability to transform a room.
HOBT is not limited to a particular era or style. Like a thoughtfully curated museum, the collection brings together pieces from different periods and origins, connected by form, craftsmanship, and the feeling they create. Each object is chosen for its ability to hold its identity while becoming part of a home that feels personal, collected, and entirely its own, because, beauty and function were never meant to sit at opposite ends of the room.
