Every kitchen needs an island, and mine is small, which is how this apothecary style piece landed in my kitchen before I ever started the business. Six small drawers with chrome cup pulls sit above turned legs, a nod to the library card catalog, in a warm honey wood trimmed with steel corner brackets and a chrome bar handle at each end. It stands at counter height, so it works for prep, bar, and storage. I am obsessed with apothecary pieces and card catalogs, and I have never found another like this one. Listing it was not easy, but every once in a while I pull a piece from my own collection, because I have so many beautiful things, and I can't wait to meet whoever gets to love it as much as I do.
How to Style: It is very functional and perfect for a small space. Use it as a kitchen island, or as craft storage if you would rather keep it out of the kitchen. Wheels can be added. The drawers are roomy, and the end handles are great for hanging towels. They don't make things like this anymore.
