Dana McClure's work spans a variety of media including collage, painting and photography. She has art directed print, motion, and interactive projects for commercial, non-profit, and cultural clients worldwide and her artwork has been commissioned by companies like Microsoft and the 5-Star Conrad Hotel in Dubai.
After ten years of teaching art and design at Parsons The New School for Design and New York University, Dana now focuses on her studio practice and runs a gathering space in Upstate NY called Ravenwood. The space is a celebration of seasonality through visual art and design. A small produce + flower farm run by her husband inspires much of her artwork. Explorations in floral abstraction from the materials of homegrown blooms make their way into many of her compositions as photographs, paintings, collage materials and pressed petals. Much of this work is displayed in Ravenwood's seasonal barn space that aims to inspire creative exchange around the integration of farming/food and art/design.
