ANDINA is a socially-responsible textile design studio made up of artisans, designers, and social entrepreneurs. We are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina and in New York City, United States.
Our mission is to share, honor, and promote the strength of the Andean people in northern Argentina and their traditions by sharing their creations with the world. We aim to create a better world socially, environmentally, and economically through our unique pieces.

OUR PRODUCTS: All our rugs are unique, and made to order. They are handwoven using Andean looming techniques that are over 200 years old, passed down through multiple generations.
Our rugs come in a variety of sizes, designs, and colors so you can pick the perfect piece for your home or space. We even make custom rugs upon request.

OUR ARTISANS: We work directly with artisans from the Monte, a remote and almost inaccessible area in northern Argentina. Many of our artisans are women.
The making of rugs is the main livelihood for many women and their families, who make the pieces by hand, through a completely sustainable and organic process.

OUR FAIR TRADE MODEL: At ANDINA we are committed to respecting and advancing the principles of Fair Trade, positively impacting not only our artisans, their families, and their communities, but also the environment through sustainable business practices. Our model advances social, economic, and environmental sustainability impact through equitable trade and fair labor practices.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY PHILOSOPHY: Our products are made to be ecologically-responsible. Our dyes are derived from flowers, tree bark, and native Andean plants, - and we only use 100% pure natural wool, sourced from sheep local in northern Argentina.
Our hope is to share the beauty of the South American Andes and the people through our unique rugs.
