Vintage; C.1970's Spectacular example of a Postmodern, Geatano Sciolari design, for Palwa of West Germany, is this gorgeous chandelier, a … Read more Vintage; C.1970's Spectacular example of a Postmodern, Geatano Sciolari design, for Palwa of West Germany, is this gorgeous chandelier, a stacked, gilt gold, geometric, square-shaped and stacked, sophisticated, with intricately layered, design pattern throughout. There are two interior suspended surrounds; whereupon a gilt gold bar ring is suspended, and which the geometric squares, (all with crystal imbedded pieces), hang, with every other tier surround is either that exact geometric piece with a corresponding crystal faceted rectangular tier, suspended all alone, and adjacent to every other geometric gold square. ALSO in noting each geometric gilt square prisms have a dual smaller scale rectangular and faceted crystal inserts, inset faceted to geometric pieces, within this overall upscale chandelier. A little bit of the Postmodern, with a Modernist element, but given and introduced into the late Mid-Century period, with a nod to the Hollywood Regency of glamour and style(s), given the material implemented, that it oozes tons of Chic, within the eclectic, with a gumption and panache of an elevated sophistication, yet a dressage of symmetry personified all in a bundle of light, excuse the pun.
