Unusual solid wood handmade desktop organizer with slots for letters, cards, mail and everything else you want to keep neat and tidy. Other than on a desk, this would also be quite useful on top of a dresser or chest of drawers or even on your hallway console table as a drop zone accessory for mail and notes.
Circa 1930 - 1950 and very well made. Reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts era, and also Rancho Monterey and Mission styles. Appears to be cherry wood.
Measures 27.5" long and 4.5" deep by 5.5" tall. The interior dimensions of each pocket slot on either end are 4.5" across x 3" deep. The interior of the long, thin slot across the middle back measures 15.75" across x .75" deep.
