This is an Amethyst color, almost hyacinth pink, "basket" where Viking's dramatic swung glass technique has elongated the points from one of their console platters and stretched them into "straps" that are joined at the top to form a basket handle. While this is suitable to hold a low flower display, or candy, or trinkets, or chocolate truffles, or nuts, or jewelry, or other tiny treasures, it's VERY dramatic and deserves to be displayed in your treasured glass display where it can get tons of light.

Measures 9.25" long, 8.5" wide, 6.25" tall at basket handle, 2.5" high at ends, and base diameter is 4", handles are 1.75" wide. See less
