Early 19th century beech and elm childs country carver chair This is an early 19th century chair with an elm … Read more Early 19th century beech and elm childs country carver chair This is an early 19th century chair with an elm seat, it has a hooped back in the traditional Windsor style with a saddle seat and turned front legs Unusually the back legs are straight, sturdy and the seem to be original to the rest of the chair This lovely country chair made in beech and elm and is in very good sturdy condition, it may just have been used as a Doll’s chair but it is big enough for a child It is 24” high at the back, 16” across at the front The seat is 10” high See less
