Robert Llimós was born on 19 October … more Original Barcelona Summer Olympic Poster for the XXV Games by Artist Robert Llimós. Robert Llimós was born on 19 October 1943 in Barcelona. He trained as an artist at the Massana School of Art and at the St George Higher School of Fine Arts, both in his hometown, and began his career as a painter in the movement known as Nueva figuración (1965-1968), after which he embarked on conceptual explorations and then returned to Neo-Expressionist representational painting, granting great importance to colour (1969-1973). Llimós has spent long sojourns in New York (1975-1983) and Miami (1987-1988). As well as painting, his recent oeuvre includes sculpture, graphic work, murals and posters. At present he lives and works in his workshop in Barcelona. In 1994 he received the Plastic Arts Award granted by the Catalan Government. Beginning in 1994, the International Olympic Committee decided to hold the Summer and Winter Olympics in alternating even-numbered years. 1992 was the last year in which both the Summer and Winter Olympics were staged.The 1992 Summer Games were the first since the end of the Cold War, and the first unaffected by boycotts since the 1972 Summer Games.1992 was also the first year South Africa was re-invited to the Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee, after a 32-year ban from participating in international sport. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
