This is an antique European grain sack. The homespun farm sack features a red and navy vertical stripe, embroidery, and an inked name.
Warm & Inviting, the homespun textile originates from the farms of Eastern & Central Europe. Used as grain sacks, the fabrics markings indicate the farm to which the product within belonged. The linen was home grown, retted, and hand woven, creating a fabric that is soft & supple with a pronounced durability.
Use this sack as a beautiful pillow cover to add a rustic, organic elegance to create a bucolic decor.
