These are a beautiful pair of ornate folk art hand-crafted wall shelf sconces, each measuring approximately 19" tall. They are made of carved and gessoed wood and have an overall gold finish. The back panels of the sconces feature bas relief carving of a trio of 3 red flowers, adding a unique and intricate touch to the design.
One of the sconces measures 6 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep, while the other is slightly smaller at 6" wide and 4" deep. These dimensions make them the perfect size for displaying small objects, such as a Santos or offering, on their shelves.
Though there are a few bumps and nicks to the finish, which is normal for age and use, these sconces are still in excellent condition. It's important to note that there are no signs of use as a candle shelf, so it's likely that they were solely used for display purposes.
