Vintage; c.1930s-50s, Japanese porcelain Kutani ceremonial vase, vessel with an array of floral mums and vine details, with a Japanese … Read more Vintage; c.1930s-50s, Japanese porcelain Kutani ceremonial vase, vessel with an array of floral mums and vine details, with a Japanese Female, perhaps wearing ceremonial wedding garb of royal blue and purple, with butterflies. This image has been screen printed or lithograph printed, and hand-applied, in addition to hand painted details to lip top surround and base detail, which is a gorgeous designed, greek key surround, as well as mini hears, waves and a semi-quasi Moorish tear drop pattern throughout top surround. There are also Japanese character letters on opposing backside, as image indicates. Unable to actually tell what thy mean, but perhaps one with this knowledge, may ascertain the validity of the letters, and meaning to vase. There is also a makers mark on the underside, as image would indicate, provenance. Form a Jupiter, Florida Estate. This vessel, is perfect for any Asian or eclectic interior setting, and for entry console, dinner table setting, or credenza, buffet server or dining room ambiance. It is of the Hollywood Regency genre period, and adds a certain, sophisticated elegance, but an eye for eclecticism, but for those whom collect these well made pieces.
