This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique Brass "Shepherd's Crook" Style Cornet - Horn. Circa Late 19th Century. It has No Maker Mark but I Believe it to be American in Origin. It Comes with its Original Fitted Interior Wood Carry - Travel Case that is Done in the Victorian Era"Coffin" Style. It has a Few Dents and Other Age and Use Related Imperfections but it Displays Very Nicely - Would Work Well as a Unique Decorator Item in the Rite Setting. The Case has its Original Brass Carry Handle and Locking Mechanism but it Comes with No Key to the Lock
The Case Measures Overall Approx .8 1/2 inches Tall x 13 1/2 inches Long x 6 3/4 inches Wide.
The Instrument Itself is Slightly Smaller Overall.
