Printed on the selvage, “Saison Happily Married Fabrics Vat Prints Preshrunk.” Saison Happily Married fabric group was introduced in 1947 by Charles Bloom, Inc. of NYC. This gorgeous heavyweight textured cotton floral curtain panel is lined with a lightweight cotton fabric. It could be used again as a curtain or re-purposed into upholstery, pillows, or many things.
Measurements:
44”W at the bottom edge x 38.5”W at the top edge x 70” Length.
Deirdre’s Bio:
This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.
