A pair of French two-drawer commodes dating early to mid 20th century. These vintage commodes feature graceful serpentine shaped fronts with beveled marble tops. The sides and drawer fronts have burl wood veneers bordered with an inlaid satinwood band. Each chest has a curved skirt with a bronze ormolu featuring a scallop shell. They are solid, sturdy and clean. No keys.
