An exquisite Pair of 19th Century hand-crafted and later on Hand-Painted and Decorated Signed Sally Nolan Plank Seat Side Chairs. Sally Nolan is a mother, grandmother, former teacher, Air Force Veteran, a New Hampshire blueberry farmer, and recognized folk artist. Sally maintained a studio in a Bay of Fundy village in Nova Scotia, and now has her workshop in New England. Sally creates stylized folk scenes of a "Young America", of the 18th & 19th Century, many painted on barrel staves and chairs..
