This … Read more C.1960's; Wonderful Italian, hand-blown Murano decorative bowl by on of the well-revered Murano master's of his time, Alfredo Barbini. This vibrant coloration of lush, cerulean blue with inner casing of white and an outer clear casing, all encompassed with silver leaf inclusions, and a spectacular Curly-Q dimpled side, which offsets this unique-organic shaped bowl. Sophisticated in it's simplicity yet complexity given the triple layering process to pull such pieces off with panache. Polished pontil base bottom. No chips nor flea bites or stress cracks. Has been extremely well-preserved and in excellent condition. See less
