This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Antique American Sterling Silver and Hand Cut Crystal Trinket Box. Circa Late 19th Century. It is Done in a Classic Victorian Heart Shape Sweethearts Style. The Solid Sterling Silver Top has Fancy - Completely Hand Chased - Hand Repousse & Hand Engraved Assorted Flowers in Bold - High Relief with Wonderful Detail. Note Also the Gold Wash Finish on the Underside. It is Signed by the Maker - Has The Gorham Manufacturing Company Hallmarks and Marked STERLING. It is Also Embossed with a "M" That Could Possibly ? Be the Registered Gorham Date Letter for 1880. The Top - Lid has a Substantial Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 55.40 Grams / 1.781. It is in Excellent Condition - No Damage - Displays Beautifully. It is Lightly Tarnished.
It Measures 1 3/4 inches Tall x 4 1/8 inches Long x 4 inches Wide.
