It is … Read more This Really Is a Great Looking - Very Fine Quality Vintage Sterling Silver Golf Trophy - Flower Vase. It is Done in a Classic Trumpet Form - Style. The Front is Engraved - Reads as Follows - "CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 1948 RUNNER UP J.L. DELANCY". The Front also has a Round Finely Embossed & Detailed Medallion that Reads "Claremont Country Club" and Depicts a Golfing Man and a Tree. Note That I Purchased this Trophy in the Vicinity Claremont California. The Bottom is Marked STERLING and Indicates the It Was Made by The International Silver Company - Rendered in Their Popular "PRELUDE" Flower Design Pattern. The Base Also is Marked " WEIGHTED REINFORCED" - This Means That The Hollow Base has Been Filled with a Solid Substance so as To Create Ballast. The Top Section - Vase is Hollow All The Way to The Bottom - See 10th Photograph in My Listing. It is in Very Nice Original Condition and Displays Beautifully. It is Lightly Tarnished.
