Made of porcelain with a chocolate brown glaze, this is quite a charming pair! They retain most of the original wax seals and are in excellent condition with some wear/patina consistent with age. I’m not sure if this was an original red wash that has worn off or if it was applied later. Some patination of the glaze from use (probably smoke and maybe oil from being handled). This most likely can be cleaned if desired however I prefer to leave that sort of restoration to an expert. Overall excellent condition considering their age. less
