Circa Approx. 1870s. This Very Small Child's Size Chair Still Retains its Original Red Painted Features with Navy Blue Pin Striped Highlights. It Still Also Retains its Original Hand Woven Cane Seat in Very Nice Condition. It is Made Out of a Hard Wood that Appears to be Beech or Possibly Alder. Painted Features have Developed a Wonderful Naturally Aged Color - Texture & Patina that Only Time and Exposure Can Create. It Displays Beautifully. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Sound Condition. I Purchased this piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Lancaster Valley - Hershey Pennsylvania Region. This Would make a Great - Unique Stand for a Plant or Flowers, A Piece of Stoneware - Crock, Lamp, Cast Iron Decorative Item Etc.
