Very beautiful marble, patinated and gilded bronze mantel clock representing the Virgin Mary seated on a rock holding the child Jesus in her arms, with the child John the Baptist holding his crozier at their side.
Beautiful bronze patina, beautiful treatment of faces. The base with Rococo patterns, such as scrolls and shells, in gold leaves includes in its center a reserve in which is inserted a patinated bronze plaque representing a scene of the escape in Egypt.
On the enamelled dial with Roman numerals, the name of the watchmaker is partially erased. The mechanism is in working order and has its key and pendulum.
