Beautiful set (2) of authentic rice bowls made of red lacquered wood (Urushi) with crane theme applied in gold paint (Maki-e).
The decoration is hand-painted and marked at the bottom.
This set is dated to the Meiji Era (1868-1912).
Beautiful as an interior decoration, nice warm red colour.
Dimensions: diameter 11 cm, height 8.5 cm.
In good condition, light signs of age.
