These mid-century bookends are indeed grand and glam in their golden finish, and truly representative of the era from which they came. Finding a pair like this in such wonderful condition is rare, not to mention how amazing it is that they have remained together after all these years. These two have a wonderful attention to detail and though they are corresponding in elegant Renaissance Spanish style they each have their own identity with slight variations in each; such as their head gear, pattern of attire, posture and what they are holding. Both are stamped, as seen in photo. They are perfect for bring glamour to any book display or as wonderful ornaments throughout any room.
